The men’s 3,000 was one of the best distance finals in the history of the US indoor meet. Hocker won, Yared Nuguse was 2nd, and Nico Young 3rd with the top 3 separated by just .04. Mackay ran a 5-second pb of 8:30 to stun St. Pierre.
