USA XC legend Craig Virgin shares his thoughts on the state of World Cross Country

The 1980 and 1981 World XC champ gives a passionate defense of cross country. He also admits he is concerned about the state of World XC given the lack of support from several federations and the three-year gap until the next championships in 2029 but is hopeful it can be added to the Winter Olympics: «If they can have breakdancing in the Summer Olympics, then we can certainly have cross country in the Winter Olympics.»
