The Botswanan star had already signaled his form in the semifinals, clocking a world-leading 43.61. Carrying that momentum into the final, he lined up with the confidence to go even faster and delivered. “I’m so extremely grateful for this gold medal,” said Kebinatshipi. “I want to thank my team and my coach. The semi-final showed me that anything is possible as long as you believe in yourself. Today, I came out here to do just that. I’m forever grateful!”
