Epic Paris Finale: Wanyonyi Masterclass 800, Hoppel Breaks American Record, US 4x400s World Record Scares

What a final night of track and field. The men’s 800 and women’s 1500 were historically fast and Jakob Ingebrigtsen totally BOSSED the men’s 5000. From an American standpoint, Grant Fisher became the first American to medal in the 5000 and 10,000 at an Olympics while Bryce Hoppel had to console himself with an American record in the 800. Plus the men’s high jumpers refused to share the gold medal.
