The leaders hit 30k on 2:08 flat pace but faded late as the Flavin, the former NC State runner now running for Hansons-Brooks, got the win out of the second pack. 45-year-old Priscah Cherono of Kenya, who won world championship bronze in the 5000 way back in 2007, led the women’s race throughout and won in a new pb of 2:25:17
