At the 2nd Kobayashi Time Trials meet Mar. 16 in Kobayashi, Miyazaki, Suma Gakuen H.S. 3rd-year Sota Orita, the 2nd-fastest high schooler ever over 5000 m with a best of 13:28.78, ran 8:00.14 in the 3000 m A-heat.
